The Alexander Technique is a unique mind/body method that penetrates to the heart of movement. It is a tool that can be used in anything we do... whether we are practicing asana, meditating, singing, acting to performing everyday activities. In all these activities we have the opportunity to deepen the quality of our attention, develop the ability to notice and to make CONSCIOUS CHOICES about HOW we move. We are designed for movement, and when we move in harmony with our body's natural design we experience ease, fluidity and grace. When our energy flows, it is easily directed into creative pathways that enhance our WELLBEING and FUNCTIONING.

Lona Alexander (no relation to the originator) is certified by AmSAT, the American Society of the Alexander Technique, and has been teaching private and group classes since 1990. One of Lona's greatest joys is in helping her students find greater ease, confidence and creativity in their life.
